(Why we need Godly friendships)

The word of God states we are to seek wise counsel and wisdom. 

Proverbs 20:18 Plans are established by counsel: by wise guidance wage war.

We are reminded the importance of keeping ourselves in Godly community.

The world around us tells us to be independent and separated from other Women.

To always be in competition and comparison of one another.

As women of Faith it should the be rooted in our faith journey to evolving into who Gods created us to be. To trust and heal from past betrayals or lies are apart of the process that separates

“worldly” friendships from “Godly” friendships.

As we step into the beauty of Healing, The Father begins to heal wounds from past friendships and replaces those with that of the Kingdom Values.

A Godly friendship will be Christ centered, with counsel that leads to the cross. 

Doing life alone can get lonely. Allowing the enemy to control that mindset is deception. 

We can either choose to live a life of bitterness or live a life according to God’s word, which is to forgive. Forgiving is a strong hold meant to keep us separated and in bondage.

The truth is we forgive so we can be set Free in Christ. You aren’t giving any power to the person that hurt you. You are receiving the power of God to walk in your Kingdom Identity. You are allowing yourself to feel again. You are allowing yourself to be joyful again.

Godly Friendships are that of “One Accord” Romans 15:16.

A friendship that will empower you, encourage you, correct you, hold you accountable all while loving you from a place of serving not being served.

How do you discern if you are in a Godly Friendship?

The word says to test by the spirit all things. 

Does the friendship represent Christ?

Does the friendship have the fruit of Christ? 

How does the friendship sustain the highs and lows of LIFE?!

We all love to be surrounded by community when life seems perfect,

am I correct? but.  

When life is lifting, things are hard, depression slips in , you seem lost. Where are your friends?

We can’t just be friends when life is Good, We cant be friends with the mindset of getting something from the other person.

A Godly friendship will sustain the fire of Life with you side by side,why? Because there is the fourth one in the fire within you both, there is an understanding of the power of prayer. There is the seed of Christ planted within both of y'all to grab ahold of each others prayers and intercede , pull on heaven and war as you both are HOLY WARRIORS!!

Their is no competition in The Kingdom of God, we are all children of the most high!

When you receive the revelation of who you are and whom you belong too, Your Identity is established. You will know who you are and there will be no room for comparison or jealousy in your life.

There is a beautiful connection when you allow The Lord to restore your heart and build trust again. You will welcome Godly friendships and trust its all in Gods plan for you. 

Remember some people are in our lives for certain seasons. Some people don’t continue with you because they are not going where God is taking you. As you are living a surrendered life you will understand that more. 

Guard your heart and live by the spirit of God. 

Its time for you to bless the past and welcome the future of friendships God has planned for you.

It’s time to live a life of a sound mind, Joy and Restoration all in Freedom.
